Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s aide was arraigned before Oredo Magistrate Court.
Curtis Ugbo, a senior special assistant on media and public affairs to Governor Adams Oshiomhole, was arraigned before Oredo Magistrate Court on Thursday, April 14.
Premium Times reports that the governor’s aide was arraigned
for possession of a double barrel gun without a valid license.
Reading the first of the three counts, police prosecutor S. Iredia said that Ugbo committed the offense on April 12 at No 2b,
Ugbor Road in Benin City, Edo state.
He was also accused of publishing an article against
Oshiomhole in a manner likely to cause breach of peace in Edo state.
